SAS, Actuate Joins IBM SOA Specialty Program

SAS and Actuate have revealed their acceptance into the IBM SOA Specialty program after completing IBM’s SOA technical and business requirements. This enables the SAS Enterprise Intelligence Platform to integrate with the IBM SOA Foundation, which is a single, open set of software and patterns. This achievement, also paves the way for integration of the Actuate platform with the IBM SOA Foundation. Customers of IBM and Actuate can now take advantage of a common approach to SOA to integrate business intelligence and performance management capabilities into applications to support the complete spectrum of business processes, the company noted.
