Skills Gap, Staff Shortage Hurt Technology Surge in India

Is there a slowdown in corporate skill set in India? This is a question that has been spreading ominously worldwide. The Indian IT industry seems to be faced with a dearth of skilled engineers. Indian outsourcers are managing despite the shortages by hiring plain science graduates and re-training them for engineering work, Wipro Chairman Azim Premji told reporters.
