Wipro Eyes Acquisitions in India and China

Wipro has plans to expand its operations in China and India. The company currently has two centres in China—at Shanghai and Beijing—employing around 100 people, Wipro's chairman Azim Premji said. "But we are rapidly expanding there (in China) and we will continue to expand there," he added. The company is on the lookout for strategic acquisitions in consumer care as well as in the IT sector in India to sustain its inorganic growth.
