Nokia Wins GPRS Expansion Contract from Chinese Mobile Company

Nokia, a mobile devices and mobile network equipment maker, has signed a contract with a Chinese mobile maker company to expand China's Guangdong MCC GPRS network, but gave no financial details. Nokia said it will provide its intelligent GPRS packet core solution for the 8th GPRS expansion of Guangdong MCC and will thus become the GPRS network provider in the province.
