Research Says Only 5% of Fortune 1000 Companies Use IPV6

TheInfoPro (TIP), a research network for the Information Technology (IT) industry, has released its latest Wave 2 Networking Report detailing technology adoption trends and timeframes for the Networking sector. According to the study, only 5% of organisations interviewed have Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) in use today. The research also reveals that an additional 18% have expressed some interest in adopting IPv6 for their infrastructure over the next 12 to 18 months.
