Symantec Acquires IT Infrastructure Services Firm, Company-i

The IT security firm, Symantec has acquired to buy UK-based consultancy Company-i for an undisclosed amount. Company-i specialises in helping financial services firms manage their data centres. Symantec said the firm would help it expand its IT Risk Management practice. Post acquisition, Company-i will join Symantec’s Global Services organisation as part of its global consulting business, initially focusing on the UK market. Symantec's purchase of the firm is expected to close by the end of the year.
