Cisco Beats Apple to Releasing iPhone

Apple launched the iPod, and was in the process of launching mobile phones called iPhones. There were reports in November 2006 that Apple had hired a Taiwan based contract manufacturer HonHai Precision to build 12 million Apple branded mobile phones. Given that this is a product untested in the market, it would certainly demonstrate how serious Apple is in attacking the phone market.
