IBM ENTERS USD 863 MLN CONTRACT WITH TEXAS AGENCY

IBM and Texas Department of Information Resources have signed a seven-year contract valued at USD 863 million with three optional one-year extensions. After taking all new and retained costs into account this will save Texas USD 25 million in 2008-2009 and USD 159 million over the base contract period, IBM said in a statement.
