MACROVISION SUES ALTIRIS, DELL INKS PACT WITH ALTIRIS ON STOCK DEAL

Macrovision, a maker of software to prevent copying of digital music and DVDs, has sued Altiris claiming it's infringing two patents covering a system for managing product licenses. MeanwhileDell has entered into a partnership with Altiris on a stock deal.
